About Us

We are a group of people from all walks of life who believe the Bible to be the Word of God and we are confidently waiting for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ to this earth soon.

We are a lay community and meet regularly to worship God, to read the Bible and to share fellowship together as a family of believers.  We believe the teaching of the Bible to be reliable and that it instructs us how to follow and serve God and his son Jesus.  The Apostle Paul records in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 that,

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

The name ‘Christadelphians’ was first given to a community of Bible believers about 150 years ago. Based on words from Colossians 1 verse 2 (translated from Greek) it means “Brethren in Christ”.   Today we have Christadelphian communities throughout the world.  Our fellowship is based on the teachings of the Bible.

The focal point of our worship each week is on Sunday mornings to remember Jesus Christ’s sacrifice by taking bread and wine as he commanded.  On Sunday evenings we hold Bible based talks on various aspects of the Bible message.  We also have a Bible class and other activities – see our weekly services page for more info.

We do not believe that any of our members have received any special revelation directly from God. Our faith rests solely on the Bible as the inspired word of God.  Reading the Bible is important to us and our community has a system of daily Bible readings which enables us to read the Old Testament once and the New Testament twice in a year.
